Sad news for me.....

Well, this morning I found my almost 3yr old 16" fire eel on the floor, all dried up. I have no idea how he got out, I had the glass tops on, and the gaps between the filter and glass top isn't very wide. So I have no idea as to how he got out. :(

But fire eels are great escape artists, Lonewolfblue.:( Even the smallest gaps are just enough for them to be able to escape from the tank.

one of my local fish stores sells them and in one tank but they have problems with them climing down filter pipes and getting into other tanks they really are the an escape artist
