Translating that from fish world to human world...that's quite some first class hospital he's in huh?
For the QT: When I researched it all because of my 1st ever ich attach here in Nov when I was so hopeless...to me it really boiled down to this: Yes there's sicknesses that can develop over 8-12 weeks...Am I educated enough to have xray vision to detect some of those ON TIME before its too late for the fish - To honestly face it, no I am not, cause I came to realize there's about as many sicknesses in the fish world then in ours.
So I concentrated on the sicknesses I could ID myself and based of that and their development time (often triggered by water change- move from store to home-) I pers came to the conclusion ~3weeks is what I'm gonna do here.
Now I'm not saying this will work for you, maybe your more of a fish xray vision Doc then I am...Just something to consider.
