possible ICH on gold fish

Is this ICH ? its only one my one gold fish... on the fins.. that's it.
I was reading up on ICH.. and just as a precautionary measure, added some sea/rock salt.. and upped the tank temperature to the 80s.

Yep. Ich. Hopefully, the fish should recover if given varied diet allowing it to resist the ich well. It will be a good idea to do a larger water change and increase aeration as higher temperature can decrease oxygen level and increase metabolic rate resulting in more wastes excreted.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.

It def looks like ich to me.

Treat the whole tnk as the parasite lives in the water as well as on the fish, even if no other fish show signs. Salt and raised temp has been very effective for many people and is considered the safest way to treat. Just make sure the water is getting enough movement to compensate for the decrease in oxygen due to the temp.

Treat for a fortnight even if the fish appear fine beforehand.

Good luck with it.

Have you considered a salt bath? As in placing the fish in a highly concentrated separate hospital tank, only for a short while. This would really knock off some parasites.

Your goldfish doesn't seem stressed with the higher temp? I've never raised my temp when I had Ich in the past. Salt baths + Quickcure worked wonders.
