Pleco hurt, I have pictures

I transfered my pleco from another 10 gallon to my new one, the old tank was very high in nitrats because the previous owner had not gravel cleaned and it was too late for me to fix it. I tried to clean but the disturbance caused me to lose more of my Tetra (I had 4, now only 1).

Well after moving my Pleco I noticed he had a red spot on the tip of his nose, and some filmy residue, which was gone when I checked on him later. I'm not sure how he got the sore. This happened about 2 weeks ago.

I checked him today and am afraid. At work I've run into many diseases I've never even heard of. This looks like it could be a fungus, but I'm not sure. It may just be healing, but again, I've never had this happen. So I took pictures, hopefully they're clean enough. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like he either scraped his nose or burned it on your heater. I would treat him with MelaFix and SressCoat.
