Please help me find out what is wrong with my angel fish!!!!!

I have had my angelfish about a year. My blue blushing angel about 5 days ago started with a indistingt line straight through his body. Now there is a very bold line outside of his whole body and a line straight through his body. He has been hiding more than usual and now last night didn't eat. His color looks off but not enough that I can desribe it. He is in a 55 gallon tank with another angelfish and 3 clown loaches (we just recently purchased a 200 gallon tank because we knew coming into this we would have to upgrade for the loaches). Everyone gets along great. I do water changes every 2 wks and test the water weekly. I fully test the water weekly and have everyday scince this started 5 days ago. All levels are good. I took my water into a local store they also told me everything was good. What can be wrong with him and what I do?? Please help me.

Hmm, your topic isn't very helpful unfortunately, but no one else answered so I'll see what I can do.

1. How do you test the water? (strips or liquid dropper tests?)
(Most people here view the strips as worse than useless.)

2. What are 'good levels'? We need the numbers themselves. (ie, some tests show .1 mg/l of Ammonia as safe, but NO level of ammonia is safe.)

3. What's the Ph of the water? Hardness?

4. What kind of lighting do you have set up?

5. Have you set up the 200G yet?

6. What do you normally feed your Angels?

redchigh to the rescue =) i think the angels is stressed out because of something in the tank.water could be off or the loaches could be getting too boisterous in the tank
