I have a cichlids tank with a couple fishes and they tend to swim up and down the edges of the tank. Is this normal or should i be worried?

What are the other fish? Are they new to the tank? Which ones are exhibiting the odd behavior?

Could be that the other fish are afraid and are trying to run and hide. It's hard to tell without more information.

In a lot of cases the more dom fish keep the less dom fish in the corners and sides one of my ciclid tanks has a really dom fish and he potrols the tank for fish out of place and moves them back to where he wants them to be
