so.. My one bala shark died thursday night from what looked to be some kind of cottony fungal infection. old news. Anyway yesterday my fire department had a big day at a parade, and i was looking at the fish before I left yesterday morning. The gouramis and tetras are still doing great, and the remaining bala was docile, but not really anything out of the ordinary. I assumed it was normal because he was a little apprehensive about the gouramis.

anyway he was swimming around and even eating.. but last night when I got home he was floating upside down just off the gravel at the bottom :( and this is after the melafix was added (the day before). this morning I got up for a fire call and the little dude was dead

my question is, even though the other fish all look fine should i finish out the 7 days of melafix anyway?

RIP Pierce
