Need Help with molly

I have a black molly that looks like it has a water bubble covering its eye. What could this be and what can I do for it? I took her out of 28 gal aquarium & put her in sick tank with melafix in it. Hope i'm doing the right thing.

Can you post any photos of it? What are the water params in the tank she came out of? Other tank mates? How big is the main tank? What temp?

The more info you can provide about the main tank, the faster we can help determine what caused the problem and how to best fix it before it happens again.
Without photos, it's going to be impossible for us to offer any advice on how to treat this... and yes, quarantine tank is the best thing you could have done... not so sure about the Melafix. Not a good idea to add medications unless you know what you're treating for.

she came out of a 28 gal tank with other mollies. I took her out for her eye & safety as the others seemed to be trying to eat at her eye. water temp is 78 degrees, amonia is in normal range, ph is 7.2 working on getting it up. have bio wheel filtration for 50 gal tank.

Ammonia in "normal range"? The only safe range for ammonia is 0.
Nitrite? Nitrate?
