My poor fishy

So, I am a new betta owner of 4 days. I have 2 little guys but one is not doing so good. Unfortunately, I have one of those little divided "betta" tanks that I purchased from Wal-Mart (after reading advice on here a while, I am def going to go out tomorrow and purchase a bigger tank with a heater and filter). Anyways, last night my fiance decided to turn off our heat and didn't think of our new family members. This morning I noticed that the fish seemed lethargic so I went and checked the heat and noticed it was off. Now it's about 10 at night and one of the fish is doing fine but the other one is floating straight up and down. He is breathing and will move around a little when prompted gently. Is there any hope for him? He does look like he's lost a little color and he's usually the more active of the two. I did change the water about 20% earlier but don't think he ate much today.

hello and welcome aboard.
glad you will be getting a bigger tank !! :)
they should liven up with warmth,i woud say they are cold
and you will not get much movement from them.
may i ask.... how you will devide the bigger tank ?
also if the males can see each other then they will flare alot
and this will stress them.

I lost the sick one last night so I got a 2.5 gallon tank for the survivor. I actually just tranferred him into it so we'll see. But this one has a filter and heater on it and I conditioned the water and waited for the temperatures of both tanks to be even. I feel so bad for Red (the deceased); he was so beautiful and really had more of a personality of the two. I just can't believe he went so quick. Yesterday mid-morning I thought he was doing fine, he was swimming around and then last night-nothing. I pray Sunny has a better life.
