My betta won't eat his meds :/

Well, my newest betta has internal parasites. He shows all the symptoms, bloating, white stringy poops, and also had bad swim bladder disorder when I got him. I have had to treat IP once before, and I had almost an entire tank of fish die before I finally found a med that worked (the jungle anti-parasite medicated fish food). Because of my great experience with the stuff I want to use it, however I can't get my little guy to eat it for anything . He hasn't eaten for a week, and he still won't eat it. I've tried soaking it in garlic and brine shrimp juice. I've crushed it up really small, or left it in larger chunks hoping to make it more palatable. I haven't fed him anything else in the hopes that one day he will just get so hungry that he will eat it. No luck. So I really need help. Is there anything else that I can do to get him to eat it? Maybe another med is more palatable? He seems ready to starve before he eats that stuff which I don't understand because my other fish ate it fine.

sorry your fish is sick... read up on Clout it really work on a lot of parasites...... any one else???

I do have Clout and I used it with my previous case of IP to no avail. I think it's more meant for external parasites.

I am serious when I say that this is the last time I buy fish from pet stores >:(

i hear you on tht one... i just watched my last of the Petco stock i was so unhappy with die off.. i found another LFS and they buy from local breeders (i am soon to be one) and these fish look way better right from the start!! the price is a little more to get started up but damn atleast i know they are good fish...
