My Betta Fish isn't eating !!!

I got my betta fish 2 days ago and removed the fish from its cup into a small container.(trying to get a bigger one) I fed him Betta Bio-gold and he liked it hte first day. The next morning i tryed feeding him but he attacked it,kinda chewed it, and spit it back out. i tryed it muliple times but he would not eat it. wut should i do???
I clean the the small tank every 3 days

One of my bettas used to do that.

Bettas can live for a few days without eating any food, so you will be able to stop buy your LFS and get some different food.

Bettas, like any other fish, like variety. Try feeding him brine shrimp or bloodworms.

If he still doesnt like anything, he will learn that that is his only food source, and he will have to like it.

if he was spitting it out then he could be trying to soften it (is it a pellet?)
