*Had a much more detaild post but "Page could not be displayed -grumble-"

In a nutshell, i had to move my tank over to anthor house for alittle while.

-The tank had been well established for over 5 months before i moved it

-I kept about an inch of water in the bottom of the tank for the short 20 mins it wasnt full with water (to keep bacteria alive)

-All fish are fine and healthy for 4 days after tank was moved

-One fish began to hide and sit at the bottom of the tank for a few days

-Often id think he was dead because he would be laying on his back, motionless when id touch him hed freak and swim off fast!

-two days later he was being beat up by other fish, assuming he was sick i quarantined him (all his fins are ripped mostly off) *but it doesnt look like a fin rot though i am not an expert*

-he hasnt done the upsidedown tick alone in his quarantine tank but he doesnt seem interested in eating and he swims slowly and weakly

Is he sick or just beat up for being a male? there are 5 females and 3 males (50 gallon tank)
I added a bit more salt to his quarantine tank - it is now 1TBS per 5 gallons - the main 50 gallon had 1 per 10 of auqa salt.

Do fins even grow back? He used to be good friends with all his other buddys... :/
any tips on helping him heal will be adored. He seems unintrested in eating spends time near the top of the water at day and hides under the plastic decor plant at night

Params

Temp: 76F
Power of Hydrogen: 7.6
Brackish tank: 1TBS per 10 gallon

50 gallon tank with 8 lyre mollys

Thanks For reading :D

fins and tails always grow back.if you want there are meds to cure rips in fin and tail.i used to use them for my guppies and betta.but you'll need to remove all the salt to do this. the med is called patch a tail.try some live food to see if he starts to eat again and good luck in getting him better

salt removal is actually mandatory before using any type of meds in a tank =)

good luck
