Lolli Cory in shock

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I would like some advice. I've had my 10 gallon running for a while and I have 4 pristella tetras in there, along with two cories. I initially bought two peppered cories but I found one dead the next morning after I put them both in. The other one was lethargic so I took him out and put him in his own private tank with oxygen and a heater for about two hours. He seemed to be just fine after that so I put him back in the tank and he has been great. I then went out and bought a small Lolli Cory. I acclimated him to the water and for a while he was just laying at the bottom. Hours passed and he was schooling with the peppered cory. However, all day today he has not moved once. I think he has gone into shock. I put him in the hospital tank I put the other cory in with a heater and oxygen and he still isn't moving nor eating anything. Sometimes he has short spirts of energy where he swims around. When I bought him he was so active.

Does anyone know why this could happen? The temperature is constant in my tank at 76-77 degrees, and I have oxygen flowing throughout the tank. My other 5 fish seem to be doing very well, but the little new cory is in a trance.

Is there anything I could do to help work him out of his shock? (if that's what it is)

Thanks guys!

Lindsey

everyone is going to ask you:

how long has the tank been running?

what are your water readings?

ammonia?

nitriate?

nitrite?

ph?

last water change?
