Kara looks like she's shedding

Hi. While I was observing the fish today, I notice that my 5 month old Platy Kara looks like she was shedding on her skin. A little bit if it looks like it was peeling off of her. I'm sorry that I didn't take a picture of her. It wasn't there yesterday, it just appeared on her today. I don't know if this is a injury or what. It didn't look like she had body fungus. Can someone help me identify her problem?

The peeling is located around the gill area, but not on the gill and near her eye and fin. Like I said, she did not had this yesterday. She's eating well and she isn't acting funny( gasping for air nor swimming problems) I think it could be a injury she had. She probably had this since last night.
