Hi all,
I have a 10 Gal tank with 4 neons and 2 mollys. 2 weeks ago i noiced the white spots mainly on the Mollys and a few on the neons.
After researching i raised the temp to around 28-29*C, removed the carbon filters and treated with Ich white spot medication. nearly 2 weeks later and all the spots are gone on all the fish and they seem normal again.
in the last 2 weeks i have not done a water change as it was my understanding that during this course i should leave the water alone.
I now want to put the filters back in. Should i buy new filters or re- use the ones i removed?
I want to do a water change now. How is the best way for me to get all the med that has been in the water over the past 2 weeks or so out? should i do 25% water change every 2 days or so?
Also what should i do with the plant that is in the tank also? Should i bin this and buy a new one?
best,
Myk3
