Ich Transfered by Hand?

I have Ick in my 75 gal that I am currently treating. Yesterday, before I saw the Ick, I was working on both this 75 gal and my other 29 gal trimming plants, removing algae, ect. So now I am concerned that my arm might have transferred the parasites from my infected 75 to my 29. Can this kind of transfer happen? Should I start treating my 29 gal with ick preventive?

15 years of fishing/ fish tank experience that sometimes I learned the hard way....... but I'm always still learning.

Ich is not something you want to treat for unless you see actual evidence of it affecting the fish. Ich is present in the majority of aquariums, we just don't see it unless the fish are weakened due to illness and/or stress, when they are more likely to succumb to it.
