I need help, I saved the poorest looking betta!

I love bettas and have 4. My most recent one I got because it is in the poorest health. He has fin rot which I have treated with a salt bath. I think he has black spot. He is peach colored and has black spots on his face, his eyes and part of his beard are black, is this normal for his color? He also has a problem with one of his gills it seems slightly deformed, and the base of his tail is crooked and slightly bulged out to one side. He dose not seem to be in pain and after the salt bath is more active and he eats well. I want to give him the best life. And the lady at the fish store is so mean to people too. She told me I am a bad fish mom because I wont buy a $25.00 heating pad for my bettas. Her fish are not on heating pads and obviously sick!

It's glitch. It can be solved by marking all forums read and delete your initial post and repost.

southafrica, just log out of the forums, and log back in. any posts that were "unread" on your previous login will now be marked as read :)

and arwen, love the name by the way (big dark age of camelot freak :P) well done on saving your betta. as for the owner, its a 2 step solution. 1, find a new LFS. second... how big is the trunk of your car? well.... we will save the extreme measures for now lol

just put those people in their place and report them until conditions improve!

Down the bottom, just above where it says who is online there is a bit that says mark all forums read, just click it and that will mark them all read. :)

I'll quote your first response in your second post and delete the first post which overrode the original post by Arwen.
