I droped my betta fish!!!

I got a new male betta fish today. i was going to put it in a temperary 1/2 gal tank. he was in a bag and looked a little older then my other one. I oped the bag and tried to dump my betta into the tank when he missed the tank and went off to the counter flopping around .I pushed him into the sink and filled it up with filter water. Some parts of the sink was a little rusty. I put him back into the tank and he looks fine now but will this affect him in anyway???

Oh what a bummer. He could have ruprured his swim bladder. If it wasnt a very high fall, he could have only bruised it which will heal with time.
