Help my tiger barb seems to be dieing

Hi, one of the barbs from my semi aggressive tank seems to be dieing. All the parameters seem to be alright based on my tests and have been holding constant for well over a month. My girlfriend came home and saw him stuck to the filter we thought he was dead but saw him gulping for air when we went to get him unstuck. He is now having issues swimming sometimes just sitting there not moving his fins but just floating. I am in the process of moving him to the quarintine tank but I'm not sure if he is going to make it. Everything else in the tank seems to be alright no problems.

Just keep him isolated and calm until you can see some symptoms. I hope he makes it.

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

Moved him to the quarintine tank last night and he seemed to be convulsing. Did a water change and everything, woke up this morning and he was dead :(

Oh man I am so sorry you could not save him. Sometimes things just die for no apparent reason its hard when you don't know why.

Kindest Regards,
Amanda
