HELP!!!! MY BETTA FISH IS SICK AND MIGHT DIE!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got my betta fish a month ago and a couple of days ago he stop swimming around the tank and just sitting at the bottom. Now he is not moving much, not eating and now laying at the bottom on his side. I'm scared that he might die!! Someone PLEASE help me!!!
BTW his tank is/has:
2 gallon tank
betta friendly plants
betta food
large pebbles (so he can't swallow them)
air pump
heater

What are the parameters? What's your water change schedule??

The temperature is probably too low. Bettas need a temperature of 76 degrees and higher, or else they become extremely lethargic.

Water Params? Water Changing scheldule? Temperature?

The parameters are:
temp: 76 degrees
I change the water every 2 weeks
When I got a test water testing kit it stated the water was good

hmmm... maybe hes already sick when you bought him. hes probably sick.

can you describe a bit more, like his color his movement?

What kind of water test kit did you use? If the tank doesn't have a filter, every 2 weeks on water changes probably isn't enough.

I agree that in a tank of that size you should do waterchanges on a much more regular basis.

Could you post the test kit reading for Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate, and as James said above, what sort of kit are you using?

The kit I'm using is "Freshwater Master Test Kit" it test for :
pH: 6
Nitrites & Ammonia: below 1mg/L
