Im trying to take some advice on feeding my catfish some mashed peas. I think he has something wrong with his swim bladder. I am having some troubles though! He keeps spitting it out. How do i get him to keep the peas down??
my guess is he just dosnt want to eat peas. the fact that hes trying it means he can eat... but he dosnt want it so he spits out. im sure you have witness some fish try to eat fish poo and spit it out...... same thing.
just let it eat uneaten flake. if you want something special for it. buy algae wafers and feed it to him in small bits. tiny. like break one wafer into 4 pieces
What makes you think your catfish has a swim bladder disorder? Honestly, that would be a very rare occurrence, catfish are not prone to swim bladder problems. What is the species of this fish?
What are your water parameters? Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, ph, temperature?
