HELP!!!!! Fin Rot!
My beautiful male betta seems to have developed fin rot along the edges of his gorgeous tale!!!!! I have just moved him to his own 5 gallon tank that has been cycled and tested the water and everything seems to be perfect so it must have come from his old water. HOW DO I GET RID OF IT??????? He's so gorgeous but now has a transparent brown rim along the outline of his tale!!

Just keep the water pristine for the time being, see if it heals without the use of meds. If that doesn't work, bettababy suggests a really good combination of meds to use but I'm running late (again) so I can't look it up for you. :(
