I' m not sure. But there is still blood on the socket. I would try a salt treatment but I dont have a qt tank right now. Should I wait and see if it gets better? Posted via Mobile Device
I would prolly say thats your best atm. Do nothing.. keep in mind I'm no expert. Putting salt into a would seems quite cruel, despite the potential benefits. Just make sure the water stays very clean, so it can hopefully avoid any infections.
I agree with keeping the tank water pristine clean. I would also be watching closely and doing my darndest to figure out what happened so it can be prevented in the future. The poor little darling. I can't even imagine it.
Could it be maybe it got into a fight with another fish?
