Guppies

I've had some male guppies in my tank for about a fortnight. They are the delta variety; 2 b&w, 2 blue/lemon and 2 red/black.

The two red/black ones are dead (along with some of the endlers - even female ones) and I noticed that their tail fins have been munched on quite viciously. Now, I'm not one to point the finger but one of the blue/lemon guppies seems to have quite a distended belly - if he were a she, I'd swear it was pregnant!

Anyway, do you think I've colluded unwittingly in a bit of interguppy bullying? Also, will they start picking on the other fish now as well?

Might have known Chelsea and Newcastle would not be able to refrain from violence when contending with Man Utd!

hi
the trouble with all male guppies is that
they will rip each others fins, melafix will help,
however it will not help the actual problem
which will carry on with an all male tanks worth.
i think that you may have to change the ratio, and introduce
some females,i can only think of that option, unless you take
the others back.
and just so you're not alone,i've got the same thing going on. :(

Not any more Lupin. I took one on my mobile, but after he died it seemed a bit pointless keeping it.

Haven't been about for a few days (as you can no doubt tell) been busy getting the sprogs back to school.

BTW, I'm now down to one, and the endlers females have been taken out too. I now have one B&W male delta with his battle scars (he was obviously the one with the most attitude) with four small male endlers (or I did this morning).

I'm going to give the tank time to settle down again. God knows it's been a rough couple of weeks - tank wise.
