Growths on my Dwarf Gourami's

Could you please help me identify what is happening with my Turquoise Dwarf Gourami? Pictures included.

On Monday 2/25, I first noticed some reddish swelling or enlargement below the eye, on the fishes "Jaw" line - but
not directly on the mouth. This is not evident in the attached pix. On Tuesday 2/26, I noticed on the
lower fin, a small reddish growth or bubble - this you can see the pix. I cannot see or identify anything trailing from either
of these areas.

Furthermore, on Friday 2/22 the same conditions above afflicted one of 2 Flame Dwarf Gourami's. Not exactly knowing
what it was, I removed it from the tank.

Aside from these growths, the aflicted fish were swimming, eating and acting as they had from the day they were introduced
into the tank.

These "Growths" have come on lighting quick. Checked it at night before bed, nothing. The next morning the growth on the
mouth and in the afternoon, the growth on the lower fin.

I am completely perplexed. I could find nothing on the net that matches a similiar profile both in symptoms or pictures.

Please help me identify if you can.

Ammonia & Nitrites are 0ppm.
Nitrates are 5.0ppm

2 Flame Dwarf Gourami (added 12/22/07)
2 Turquoise Dwarf Gourami (added 11/26/07) - lost 1 to droopsy or pop eye back in mid jan 08.
Last water change was 2/24/08 - about 10-15%. Also changed the carbon filters on the Fluval.
Last gravel vacuum was 2/16/08.
The only thing new added to the tank were the Siamese Algae eaters on 2/18/08
The fish are feed Omega One Flakes and Tetra dried blood worms.
As of 2/18/08 I started to feed them the Tetra dried baby shrimp.

Thank You.

The only thing that comes to mind is a possible injury overnight from either an ornament or an attack form another fish.

If you can get that picture to load it could help a lot. Make sure it is small enough and it should upload fairly easily.
