Based on that, I'm guessing that they may be developing some iridescence as they age. It's also possible these are breeding colors, depending on the type of rummynose you have (there are three possible variants, hemigrammus rhodostomus; hemigrammus bleheri; and petitella georgiae).

Yes, they are still eating and acting normal. I'll continue to monitor them. Thanks for your suggestion. I just thought it was really odd that they developed green spots. I haven't seen any other at the store with those spots.
