Green neon tetra with white crust/mold spot on head

I tried to get a picture of it, but none of them came out with anything but I'll keep trying. The spot is right on top of his head between his eyes. It doesn't look fluffy, but more hard. He's the same size as the others, with the same activity level and appetite. Whatever the spot is, it doesn't seem to be affecting him or any of the other fish. Any idea what this might be?

I just got these green neons on Thursday, they were wild from what I understand. They came to me from a lfs, but as they were ordered for me, they were held in their bag and never put into a tank.

I also got some ember tetras via the same order, but they were separately bagged. All the fish seem to be doing great, I'm just concerned this white spot could turn into something bad. I just went through my entire tank being decimated by ich so I know from that experience this isn't ich.

Any ideas?

Tank is planted, has driftwood, water parameters are zero across the board except for nitrates of which there is a trace due to my water coming out of the tap that way.

Could be white spot or a fungus infection.look online for symptoms and pictures. All treatments are avaliable at your LFS.

As I stated, it's not ich. It also doesn't look like any of the pics of fungus I've seen online. It's not fuzzy. The spot isn't getting any bigger either.
