Hi
I've recently added some glowlights to my 6gal tank. They spent about 2 wks in QT with 7 days of melafix and pimafix.
One of them had a patch on his side that looked greyish whitish. After the quarantine, patch looked a bit better, but not gone completely. Fish behaviour was quite normal, damaged one acted no different from the rest. They went into my main tank a week ago, but as of last night he doesn't look so good. Patch has gotten a bit worse, but more importantly his behaviour has changed last night. Now he seems to be gasping, holding his gills open more than the others, and sometimes hangs out on his own, not too interested in food.
I'm concerned that he may infect the others, not sure what it might be, and am thinking of putting him back in the QT. That may be too stressful though?
Water parms are all ok, other glowlights seem ok.
Could this be velvet? What should I treat him with for that? Not sure what's the best course of action. Any thoughts are appreciated, thanks.
