O.kay, I have a 7liter tank. I had a gold fish and a guppy, they died. I got a betta, he died. Now all I have is an algie eater. The gold fish and guppy died of unknown causes, the betta died of fungus. I followed the instructions for treating the fungus. I used Sera Mycopur. Three days, and changed half the water, as recomended on the bottle. However, my algie eater still looks like he may have some of the fungus on him. There's also a film on the surface of the water. What is it? How often can I repeat treatment for the fungus? I don't want to lose my algie eater too. What do I do? My algie eater looks like he's covered in velvet. Is this fungus? Or is it something else? I'm almost ready to give up entirely. I need HELP!
P.S.- Does anyone know where I can go to talk to someone live? I don't trust the pet stores as I've gotten nothing but bad advice from them. They seem more interested in selling me chems to conduct a science project instead of helping. And I need to know what the best water tester kit is.
