Fish tail cut

I have setup my tank 9 days before and It was having problem for cloudy water and all but now I am looking all is going OK But when i check one of Blue gaourami his/her tail is somewhat broken

I wanted to know did it is sign of any disease or did this tail come again ore same like this

Could it be that your gourami has been in a "fight" with another tank member? I know of no diseases that would have a split tail as a symptom.

I thought I heard that Plastic Plants also can cause a cut fin.
