fish systematically dying in 55
Soooo, it started with the swords, then corys, now my rainbow shark is in the midst of slowly dying to whatever is affecting my fish. I assumed it was poor water quality for a long time just because it was so slow going, but now its not just the swords, its affecting my other fish as well in exactly the same way. Starts with lethargy, they may or may not eat, may or may not have clamped fins. in the later stages they get white fin edges, ragged edges, and white raised blotches on the skin, which is most notable on my rainbow shark.
lets see... 55g, fed flakes and a couple wafers once a day, water changed at least 2 times a week since the fish became sickly, several large aquarium plants in there, ammonia is 0, but thats the only reading i have, filters are a hydro sponge IV, and a penguin 200. penguin gets swished when the water flow slows down. not previously treated with anything.
