Filter making current- Betta getting stressed OUT!

My betta is in a 5 g WaterWorld tank with a filter that breaks the surface of the water.
I'm not sure what to do.
Funds are limited.

Point the outflow towards the glass to block the currents. Any pictures of your tank? I'm not familiar with this WaterWorld tank.

By diverting the direction. Hmmm..Difficult to picture your situation without a pic.

i do agree with Lupin,if at all possible
could you post a picture of the filter, there could be
an esay solution to your problem, however it is
difficult when there is no picture to go with.

I have a 10g female betta tank with a whisper HOB filter for it. I used the lid from one of the betta buckets they come in, poked a hole in it, put a zip tie through the hole, and closed the lid on the zip tie to hold it in place :)
