Fading tiger barb

I have two tiger barbs and two cherry barbs (was three but one died) in a 29 gal tank. I got them as started fish and havn't moved anything else yet, but i've had it set up for a little over two months. One of the tiger barbs strips are faded and he seems to float in the water a lot while swimming, other than that he seems active and interacts with the other fish. I have a 30 gal whisper filter and heater (twas a kit). The water has no ammonia or nitrite, the nitrate is at 20.

The faded tiger barb is probably being picked on. Tiger barbs should be in groups of at least 6 to spread out aggression. Cherry barbs are less nippy but they should still be in a group of at least 6 to be happy. Also, what it your temperature right now?

I feed them a large variety of stuff as I do with all my other tanks, the temperature is at 80. I've never seen any of the fish nipping at each other but I don't get to watch them all the time either.
