Ok thanks beause I have been sick for the past couple days and have been spending a lot of time playing with my betta (sounds weird but yea) and i just wanted to make sure i cant pass germs to him

they can however get a human LIKE disease called TB, Turberculosis which is fatal to the fish. It cant exactly of contracted to humans from fish about if you work with the affected tank and you have a wound on your hand, it is POSSIBLE to get an infection
