Did my fish just try to commit suicide?

We have a 3 rainbow fish in a big tank with a bunch of others. All the sudden the biggest rainbow just went absolutely crazy. He swam non-stop as fast as he could for 30 seconds all the while he was bouncing off the floor and walls HARD and he actually skimmed the entire lengh of the tank across the top of the water.

He finally hit the ground HARD and is KO'ed right now laying in a plant. What just happened? Brain parasite or infection? Just decided it was all too much?

What are your water parameters? I'd like to know that one. It appears something could be wrong with your water parameters.

I'm ready for the pressure.
The drama and the pleasure!
If there is one thing I want to see here, it's HUMOR.
I believe I can fly!
I believe I can touch the sky!
I think about it every night and day!
I stand in awe of my body.
