i think my betta has a desiase. he now has some small brown spottes on himon his head and back can someone help

well he did behave wierd he hide in his ornement so i turned the light out the ar 50 watt is that 2 much

Hi PLECO, I would recommend that you get yourself a testing kit to monitor that water parameters in the tank.

The main things you will want to test for are

Ammonia
Nitrite
Nitrate

A good testing kit is the API master test kit which can be found in most good LFS. Avoid test strips as these are unreliable.

How long has your tank been running, how long have you had the fish and how often do you do water changes?

ooh thats wut paramiters is i already have a ph kit, iv change the water yesterday and also cleaned it 20% water change
