| || | There's no such thing as livebearing danios. It is easy to assume because you cannot become aware that they already laid eggs. Eggs are not easily seen and by the time, a week passes, the fry are already grown and it is easy to assume that they were born through internal fertilization.

Microsoft: Pls post a pic of your fish so the doubt will be ceased.:) I doubt the event that mother and fry died. It is more likely that your fish aren't danios at all but from the family Poeciliids.
