I've seen clove oil mentioned a few times as a humane way to put a fish to sleep. How is this done? I'd not heard of it until I joined this forum.
Get a cup of tank water. Put in about 10 drops of clove oil. Shake it up. Add the fish, cover the cup. Vodka can also be used as a quick way to wrap it up. Instead get a cup of water, add about 5 drops, shake it up, add the fish, wait for him to fall asleep, add vodka.
