Can plants carry ich

Got a yoyo on friday, new plant on sunday. Monday yoyo had white spots all over. Lfs other yoyo ok. This is an honest lfs. Could the ick of been on the plants or was yoyo stressed from move and it came out. And purchased a gold nugget out of same tank as yoyo.. So see my major concern. They are in separate tanks though

It is possible that the tank the plant was from had ich tomites present from infected fish living in the tank, and that some of these were introduced into your tank when you brought in the new plant.

should i do something with tnk precaution wise leaving for vacation in few days dont want to come home to sick fish. I did raise the temp a few degrees......
