Bloated tummy betta

My bettas were breeding today and everything seemed fine before I went to work so I left. I came back a few hours later to find that they were finished, but my male looks funny. He seems happy and chipper, just his tummy is bloated like something is stuck. I don't think he's constipated or sick, it just looks like he's... pregnant and everything I have read has told me that this is impossible... Does anyone have an idea as to what could be wrong? :(

I fed him this morning and he ate everything. It's like he can't get rid of the sperm from yesterday...

Try fasting or green peas to loosen his stomach.

Thanks for the advice! I gave him a green pea and his tummy seems to be going dowm. It also provided me with some entertainment! As soon as I put the pea in the tank, he grabbed it and started swimming around with it in his mouth! It was absolutely halairious! Thanks everyone!
