Bloated Cory, can he be saved?

I have a cory who has become bloated and he has a red spot on his tummy. He still goes up for air every now and then, like all cories do, but he looks miserable. Is there something I can do to help him?

My tank has been set up for 2 years, and there has been no illness, no fish death, nothing in a long time. Stable. Everyone is behaving normally, except for this poor soul. I wish I could give you better pictures, but I'm terrible with pictures. Ideas?

Hopefully someone else can help you better than me... I honestly have no idea, in the second pic I didn't even think he was a cory for a sec!! Sorry :( Best wishes to you and the little guy.

well, he passed this evening. I am just glad he is out of pain. Very sad to lose him though. I guess I shouldn't complain, he is only the 2nd fish ive lost in 2 years.
