hey guys,
i've got two
Goldfish in a 10 gallon tank. i know this is a little small but the fish are pretty small themselves. it will have to do for a couple of months. the water quality is fine and i do frequent 25% changes.
the first couple of weeks some ailments cropped up in my moor, he was in pretty bad conditions at the LFS. i had to treat for Ich, and then used erythromycin for fin rot. happy to say the treatments were successful and the guy seemed completely rehabilitated.
through all of his problems he was still a very frisky, curious, hungry fish. now, all of a sudden i've noticed he is acting a little unlike himself. he goes into these spells of real listlessness. he does snap out of them and get peppy, especially when i'm around and he thinks he's about to get fed. i've also noticed that once in a while he will make a big "O" with his mouth as if he's burping. i hadn't seen that before.
the final symptom is the white, bubbly strings of poop he's been producing for the last hour or so. some of them float straight to the top of the tank.
i don't overfeed my fish, if anything they are underfed. i am very cautious.
are we talking stomach parasite?
thanks for any tips you might have.
