Ok, I kind of have a bid problem. Today I just noticed that my fish have ick. Here's the thing-- I am leaving for a week trip in two days. This is not enough time to treat the ick, and by the time i get back i am afraid all my fish will be dead. Will my fish die? Nobody can come over my house to treat them for me. The ick is still in its early stages. What can I do?
Well, you could commute back from your trip each day. But, since that is not a valid option, I would raise the tank temperature to 82 degrees. Treat with Nox-Ich or PimaFix before you leave. Beast you can do on such short notice. Just hope for the best. Make sure to remove all carbon filters.
