betta floating to the top

Hi,my crowntail spends most of his time at the top of the vase.I just got him from the pet store about 5 hours ago,whats wrong with him

Tank size? I dount hardley any room at since it is a vase.
Heated?

You also need to go through the aquarium nitrogen cycle (just cycle). That term, can also be very misleding. If it is a tiny tank under a gallon with no filter, then you will not o through this.

Also, it may be shock. I'm sure you would be pretty stressed out if you were taken from your home, dragged miles away, and plopped into a new enviroment. Give him some time to get used to his tank.

i agree that a vase i no enviorment for a betta. a heater will greatly increase your fishes health and happieness
