Well, not too long ago me and my mom were cleaning our tank. We were getting our bala shark out of the tank to put him in a temporary containter so we could clean his tank. But my mother dropped him on our wooden floor and he was flopping around and when we put him back in the tank he seemed to have bruises on the right side of his head and tail. Please respond to this thread, I would hate for him to die.

Keep doing frequent partial water changes. 10-20% everyday.

Why were you emptying the tank to clean it? Thats something that should only be done very rarely.. Once or twice a year at most.

No, I wasn't emptying the tank. I took about 50% of the water out because it was dirty and when we toke out Bala shark out he jumped out of the net.

Ahh... you can just leave the fish in the tank then, just gotta be careful. For this reason it's better to not take fish out of the tank unless you have to. Live and learn.

+1 never take fish out in a normal water change, less stressful and less accident prone, best you can do for him is just to keep clean water and hope he recovers.
