Anchor Worm?!...

My male rainbowfish has developed which looks like a peice of scale on his lip but could possible be a parasite maybe an anchor worm. Please, can anyone identify it?

You may want to read through the sticky on freshwater and saltwater diseases.
I know there is some stuff in there on worms and parasites.
I can't really tell from the picture.
