Amonia, Nitrite, KH, and pH???

O.kay, I just got back from getting myself a good test kit. I tested my water for pH, KH, Nitrite, and Amonia. But I don't know if the results I got are good or bad.
My pH is 7.2
My KH is 40-50mg/L
My Ammonia is 0.0
My Nitrite is also 0.0
That of coarse is assuming that I'm reading the reasults right. The mixture didn't change colour at all for either the Ammonia or the Nitrite, it stayed clear.
I don't want to change my KH anymore than I have because when I started it was at 20mg/L.

I know this isn't under the right topic heading, but I couldn't load the Starting and Maintaining Fresh Water Aquariums screen. Sorry.
