My beta (named 48 for Nascars Jimmie Johnsons team) is very bloated and I do not know what to do. I have had Betas before and never experienced this with one. Can anything be done to help 48?
take 1 green pea just microwave it for about 15 seconds. Split it open drop on half of the pea in the water. If he eats it there will be plenty of fiber and your betta should start to unblote
and dont worry if he wont eat it the first time. you could give him peas in different ways. you could cook 'em, defrost them in water, dry them out, mash them, or cut it up in tiny bite size peices. mine likes to eat peas off the end of a toothpick. all depends on the fish's taste.
keep feeding him peas at normal meal times until bloat goes down
and you'll probly find lost of green poo at in your tank
Thank you!!!!! I called my mom and 48 is getting the pea now. She is going to watch him to make sure he eats some. Should we give him any more or just once?
Whenever feeding vegetables, it is best to feed as close to fresh as possible, frozen is better than canned.
