Tolak, Yung is probably going to need to know if you're using a pc or a phone - and what browser you're using. You can post it here, send a PM to a mod, or start a thread in MDWM. Hopefully we'll get it figured out for you!
Thanks!
Desktop running Firefox, haven't tried other browsers but can.

There's never anything there, but I can't help but think something may be some day, so I slide it over every so often.

You have both horizontal and vertical scrolling when the page loads like that(scroll bar at the bottom left to right). Its an easier issue to deal with on a PC, laptop may only be slightly worse. Any touch screen phone tho can scroll in any direction and when the page loads like that and you scroll down it usually goes slightly horizontal unless you specifically go slightly left to stick to the left side of the page. So its either use the super bare-bones mobile version of the site(that doesn't have any of the functions I use) or try to avoid getting lost in the gray on the full site .

I'm not a mod on any forum... no ones stupid enough to do that. Many members here use different sites for this hobby. I have accounts on other sites that are older then this one, some have 0 posts some have a lot more then I have here. There are a lot of great people on every site and no site is perfect.

The last part wasn't meant as any sort of slight. I only ever come on here on my laptop and wasn't really clear on the scrolling issue because of that. Makes sense to me now. I had thought I was missing some sort of comparison between TFK and other forums, many of which I also belong to, so no need explain that to me. Apologies if you thought I was blasting you for being a section advisor elsewhere. It's all the same hobby to me and helpfulness is helpfulness.

Hmm I use a mac....Used safari, ff and chrome and the site has always been normal... so it *could* be a PC problem. I've Never seen a big grey box and side to side scrolling... and I dont have ad blocker either.
Have you all updated your browsers?

Not at all. Though looking at other sites does help figure out some possible ways to lay things out and what works where. The section advisor thing is a bit like the reference team thing I think, but IDK.

My FF and Chrome are the current versions Ao, IDK about IE since it sucks either way. I have done a reinstall of windows too in the last few months to declutter my laptop and that didn't change anything.

*wonders if there's a way to leave 'easter eggs' in that area to make Tolak smile*

Wanted to let you know that I did bring this up to Yung. He requests that a separate thread be made for users who are experiencing this problem. Hopefully we can figure out the why behind this problem with more info on the specifics of who it happens to. . . that being said, I was just on my laptop, and I SAW IT!!! But here on my desk top (with a gigantic screen in comparison) there is no grey area. A similar thing happens to me on YouTube, my header is centered on THIS monitor, but not others. Obviously I know nothing about computers, though, so pardon me while I start another thread for people who do ^.^

ETA: New thread for this issue here: Grey area at right of screen...
Would appreciate if anyone experiencing this issue can post there, hopefully we can resolve it.

We'd LOVE to hear all of your suggestions. . . but I do always worry about hurting the feelings of anyone who may be suggested, but not recruited for one reason or another. I'm all about being open with things, but I think that *maybe* the best way to go about this would be to post suggestions in the MemberDiscussWithMods area, so that they can remain private - just my thoughts. . .

Sorry to all of you for the delay in getting this team up and running. We are working on it, I promise! I seem to say that an awful lot, I know. . . Please be patient with us, we're working on SO many things right now! You may have noticed that TFK has undergone a lot of changes over a fairly short period of time - we're all trying to figure out the very best way to make things better as we push into the future. I hate making excuses, but it's true, and I things are just about to start snapping into place. Please keep your comments and suggestions coming. We really appreciate all of you who have stuck by us during all of these changes - we value your input more than you know (even you cave-dwellers! ^_^) And thank you guys SO MUCH for all of the help you've given to those who need it out on the boards. Without the support of our members, we're nothing. We know it, and thank you for at least trying to understand, and voicing your concerns here.

Oh trippy. Never noticed it over there. Maybe that's just it, it's that grey area between what is and what isn't..
