Hello djembekah:

Interesting suggestion about the back ground, what would you suggest as the appropriate background, color or image?

What do you think about the rendering of the fonts?
I will try to implement your suggestion.

I am not very happy with the rendering of the png format. Would animated gif format work from a thread, if not maybe should I use jpeg format.
Also more content would be helpful any suggestions?

Thank you for the suggestions,

I think if you like the backgrounds a lot, try making them really light, almost transparent, so they're more subtle. alternatively, make the font very plain and light colored.

but personally i think that some of the plain old backgrounds PowerPoint offers would work best since they don't draw attention away from the text content.

i don't know a lot about image formats, but an animated gif might move too fast or be too busy.

Hello djembekah:

I tried using powerpoint but I was not able to upload the file wrong format. Maybe it could be put in a zip folder to be uploaded, but then the compressed file would have to be downloaded and unzipped first and I think this would constrict use.

I will try your suggestion of light, possibly transparent background with a light colored text it will be very subtle. I will do two samples one light background and light color text and one sample of contrasting colors. Any particular color scheme as light tan background with light yellow text or transparent background with very light blue text? The contrasting sample image white background and black text with tahoma or times Roman format. I think this will produce a very plain jane results but lets see how it looks.

I will have it up sometime today for your assessment.

Hello djembekah:

Here are the four samples:
Yellow fill no stroke transparent back ground.
Yellow fill stroke white back ground.

I like the lighter font but on white or transparent backgrounds, i could hardly read it.

I'm sorry if I'm being picky :( i just know that in a presentation, things would distract me. Although since this is online, it might not matter as much.

Hello Djembekah:
You are not being picky the term you are seeking is called development.
I donít find your input difficult but helpful. I wish more folks would offer suggestions then we could come up with something really great. (I am not very creative).

I suspected that light text color on a light background would be a little to calm for us but then you never know till you look at it. I am sure we can come up with satisfactory results in a couple of tries. One possibility for both white and transparent background being the same is due to the white background of the thread. All posts have a white background.

The color palate I have only allows web safe colors so I am restricted to the safe colors and donít think I can mix the color but I will try sometime today.

I will try contrasting colors shade of green or shade of blue on soft yellow background maybe it will work for everyone.

Itís a sunny and I have to go to pine plains today I take some pictures of the sky maybe this will work for a background. I wish I had some pictures of the Carolina blue sky, now thatís beautiful.

Opinions count when developing.

Personally with the white background I like the beginning of the third one best. The others (not counting the second one) might be hard to see, although would look mice on a dark background, in my opinion.

I like the second font and with a darker background the lettering should stand out nicely.

Hello spreadtoothinly:
I like the third sample also it has a dark blue stroke outlining the first few words. I will make a sample image using a darker background today.
Thank you for the suggestion.
